Are you interested in supporting your behavioral health organization in going tobacco-free and expanding cessation supports? Need assistance in taking the next steps around policy and implementation?
The National Behavioral Health Network (NBHN), Smoking Cessation Leadership Center/SAMHSA’s National Center of Excellence for Tobacco Free Recovery (SAMHSA-CTFR) and the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Tobacco Prevention & Control Program would like to invite you to attend a free virtual training on creating and enhancing tobacco-free facilities to address the needs of individuals with behavioral health conditions. You’ll gain valuable knowledge via large group sessions followed by discussion-based breakout groups on special topics. This training is also eligible for continuing education units (restrictions apply).
NBHN is collaborating with the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center that operates SAMHSA-CTFR to provide customized training and technical assistance on establishing tobacco-free facilities/grounds, integrating evidence-based cessation support for individuals with behavioral health conditions, learning about the considerations of special populations to support ongoing tobacco programming efforts, and more!
