Jim serves as the Public Health Coordinator for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT. Jim works closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as other key public health stakeholders at the federal, state and local level to ensure the Public Health’s role in the interoperability of the overall healthcare system. Jim also leads the US/UK collaboration focusing on finding common approaches to health care problems across the countries. Prior to working with the ONC, Jim served as the CIO for the Massachusetts Department of Public health.
