The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will host 5 regional meetings throughout the United States to spotlight local public health initiatives working across sectors to improve the health of their communities.
Participants — state and local public health officials and members from the business, nonprofit, environment, housing, local government, and urban planning communities — will learn from one another in a series of panels about cross-sector collaboration to achieve better health and facilitated breakout sessions focusing on 5 themes that advance the Public Health 3.0 concepts:
