The SAMHSA National Center of Excellence for Tobacco-Free Recovery (SAMHSA-TFR) operated by the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center, and in collaboration with the National Council for Behavioral Health, is thrilled to announce two FREE national trainings in 2019 to support YOU (up to two staff members) in Integrating Tobacco Control Activities in Integrated Care Settings to Address the Needs of Individuals with Behavioral Health Conditions. The newly established SAMHSA-TFR Center provides technical assistance, training, and educational resources to promote the adoption of tobacco-free facility/grounds, policies and the integration of tobacco treatment into behavioral healthcare.
These two national trainings will include tailored training and technical assistance on establishing and maintaining tobacco-free facilities/grounds, increasing evidence-based cessation supports in integrated care settings for individuals with behavioral health conditions, utilizing data and evaluation to support ongoing tobacco programming efforts and more.
The National Council for Behavioral Health is pleased to offer these two national trainings with all expenses paid to PBHCI & PIPBHC grantees on the following dates/locations:
