National Human Genome Research Institute Date: January 22-24, 2019 Meeting Title: Strategic Planning Workshop: From Genome to Phenotype: Genomic Variation Identification, Association, and Function in Human Health and Disease
Welcome to the webpage for the NHGRI’s strategic planning workshop: “Genome to Phenotype Strategic Planning Workshop.” This invitation-only workshop will be held on January 22-24, 2019 at the Hilton Rockville Hotel, 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852. The NHGRI seeks input from a range of scientific perspectives on one of the central issues in human genomics – relating genomic variation to phenotype. NHGRI would like to be a driving force in enabling this area of genomics and to do so at scale for all phenotypes and diseases with an inherited component. The goals of this meeting are meant to be considered broadly and forward thinking and cover research opportunities and barriers in these scientific areas and to consider options for future NHGRI programs for advancing this area.
The workshop will convene on January 22 from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.; on January 23 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.; and on January 24 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (*Advisors and NHGRI staff will convene immediately following the close of the Workshop on January 24)
