Program Manager at the ABIM Foundation
Kelly Rand is a Program Manager at the ABIM Foundation. In this role, she oversees activities related to a major grant the ABIM Foundation has received from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation® (RWJF) to fund the expansion of the Choosing Wisely® campaign. Prior to the ABIM Foundation, Ms. Rand spent 14 years working for various community based public health organizations, focusing on health disparities and cultural competency. As director for the South Jersey site of the NY/NJ AIDS Education Center (AETC), she worked closely with the federal and New Jersey State initiatives on Cross Collaborative Quality Improvement in the Ryan White system, building a learning network to help Ryan White entities reach federal HIV measures and standards. Ms. Rand received her bachelor’s degree from American University in an interdisciplinary program on Communications, Law, Economics and Government, and her master’s degree from University of Pennsylvania in Medical Anthropology.
