Participants are responsible for arranging and paying all their travel costs, including lodging. Following are some hotels that are closest to NIH campus. The Double Tree is within walking distance of NIH. The Hyatt is on the metro line (Red Station).

Ground Transportation –Airport
NIH Campus and the nearby hotels are located approximately 30 minutes from Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and approximately 50 minutes from both Dulles International (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI) Airports.
By Taxi: Taxi fare from Reagan Washington National Airport is approximately $35.00, and from Dulles International and BWI Marshall is $50.00 and $55.00, respectively.
By Shuttle: SuperShuttle™ provides ground transportation service from all three airports. For more information or reservations, call 1-800-258-3826. The approximate cost for one-way shuttle service from each airport is as follows:

By Metro: The Hyatt Regency Bethesda is located on the red line (Bethesda station) of metro. The other hotels are nearby but not necessarily within walking distance. Participants arriving from Reagan National airport or by bus through Union station may want to consider this ground travel option if they use the Hyatt Regency Bethesda.
Ground Transportation –To meeting site
Participants are responsible for all ground travel. The meeting location is at NIH campus (Lister Hill Building). It is located on the redline at the Medical Center Metro Station.
Security
NIH is a secure facility so all visiting participants will need to go through the NIH Gateway to go through screening. Please have an official picture ID (e.g., drivers license or passport).
